How to Use the Guardian Chain?

How to Connect the Device?

 Download the TUYA App on your phone

1. Create an account and log in to the app.
2. Turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
3. Tap “Add Device” or the “+” icon in the top-right corner.
4. Press and hold the SOS button until the red and green lights start flashing.

         The app will automatically detect the device.

      5.Tap “Add” and wait for the pairing process to finish.

Once the device name appears on the screen, tap “Done”.

 

How to Add Family Members or Emergency Contacts

1. Tap “My Home” in the top-left corner.
2. Select “Home Management”, then tap “My Home” again.
3. Tap “Add Member”.

• If the person you want to add already has a TUYA App account, simply enter their account name.
• If not, send them a link to download the app via message, email, or any communication app you use.

• Insert the pin back into the device

 

How to Adjust the Device Settings

1. Open the app and tap the SOS device.
2. Tap “Settings” to open the settings page.

SOS Settings:

SOS SMS and call notifications are now available in Lebanon. Choose a plan that suits you and ensure your emergency contacts are alerted instantly when the alarm is activated.

LED Switch:

Allows you to turn the LED light on or off and choose your preferred option.

Emergency Alarm Type:

Triggered when the alarm is activated by pulling out the pin.

You can choose between:

• Sound only
• Light only
• Sound & Light

Key Alarm Type:

Triggered when the alarm is activated by double-pressing the SOS button.

You can choose between:

• Silent
• Sound
• Light
• Sound & Light

Disconnect Alarm:

Choose whether or not to receive a notification if the device disconnects.

Important Note

The Silent mode can be useful in certain situations.

It sends a notification to your emergency contacts without activating sound or light, allowing you to request help discreetly without drawing attention.
